Exploratory Arts
Students at North will take Art as part of the Unified Arts Track. This art class is a studio type class where they will have to opportunity to explore a variety of mediums, including clay, paint, collage, sculpture, fiber, printmaking, drawing and more. Students are graded on Creative Process, Craftsmanship, Composition and Communication.
Computer Technology
Students at North will take Computer Tech as part of the Unified Arts Track. In Ms. Gaub's Computer tech class we will be focusing on basic computer skills using Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point. We will also focus on proper typing technique using Typing Master program.
Digital Arts
Students at North will take Computer Tech as part of the Unified Arts Track. In Ms. Gaub's Digital Arts we will be learning basic video and story-telling skills on programs such as PIVOT, Windows Movie Maker and Podcasting.

CLUBS:
ART CLUB will be starting in October... sign-up to be a member and get your ASB card. In art club we will work on art for National Contests, learn new techniques and work on long term community projects. This is a GREAT opportunity for anyone that does NOT get to take art during the school day, or someone that wants MORE time to do art. There will be a maxium of 20 members, so SIGN-UP today! |
